Before performing a chemical peel, your Skinn Suite specialist will discuss the treatment with you and examine your skin to ensure you can achieve excellent results. Chemical peels are safe for most skin types, but if you have an active infection, sunburn, or another skin condition, we may recommend waiting until it has resolved. Here are some additional tips on how to prepare for a chemical peel:
- Do not expose your skin to excessive sun for at least ten days before your peel
- Do not wax your face or use Retinol for the week leading up to your appointment
- Stay well-hydrated by drinking plenty of water
- Arrive at your appointment without any makeup or products on your face

Your Chemical Peels Procedure
Your Perfect Derma Peel is carefully administered by your aesthetic specialist as you recline comfortably. This process only takes about fifteen minutes, after which you will leave our office with the peel solution remaining on your skin. You will be instructed to leave the peel on for six hours and provided with a post-treatment care kit to cleanse and soothe your skin. At this point, the peel goes to work, sloughing off the outer layers of skin to reveal a refreshed complexion underneath.

A few days after your treatment, the peeling process begins. This will usually last for three to four days, with skin sloughing and flaking off as fresh skin cells are generated. Within seven to ten days, this process is complete. Your skin will look dewy, refreshed, and brighter.
